We, the Gandhi-King Scholars, are preparing for an enthralling event highlighting the skill of weaving unique to the region of Udupi in partnership with Gandhian Centre Philosophical Arts & Sciences, MAHE,Manipal. "Neyge"{Kannada word for Weaving} (ನೇಯ್ಗೆ), an experience that will leave you captivated with the vivid, exquisite textiles created that use hand weaving techniques!
It includes a 2 day textile exhibition and talks from academicians, field experts, and weavers. We have also organized a photography exhibition, documentary screening and created Postcards on Udupi sarees. Mark your calendars for May 5th and 6th, 2023, and join us for an unforgettable celebration of Udupi Sarees.
